In the woods of northern Uppsala, the Elf, Jones, and Johansson labs were guided by mushroom expert Elle Nikishkova to the treasures of the forest. We were also taught the art of making fire and perfect “kokkaffe”!
Jinwen and David enjoyed mushroom hunting and cleaning. As an extra treat, Bella Porcile made tasty wild cocktails.
When the dark descended, the fires were lit, and we prepared a meal together with the results of the hunt (and some dried backup mushrooms). Delicious!
